The Fedi Order is a human network of incredible people providing white-glove service to communities who want to onboard to Fedi. They are composed of the Masters, Knights, and Ambassadors.

On January 3, 2026 (the 16th anniversary of the Bitcoin Genesis Block) Fedi's source code became fully open source under the AGPL licence.

Anyone can read our code, audit our decisions, and build on what we've made.

We believe that if we are asking communities to trust Fedi, the least we can do is show them exactly what they're trusting.

A Brief History

2022 - Fedi, Inc. founded. $4.2M seed round raised. First public vision published: Introducing Fedi, the global Bitcoin adoption technology.

2023 - $17M Series A raised. Declaration of Principles published. First pop-up federation launched at BTC Prague.

2024 - Fedi launches publicly as the world's first community superapp. Save the Children and My First Bitcoin join as partners. Global Chat introduced.

2025 - The G-Bot Federation Setup Service launches, making it possible for anyone to start a federation.

2026 - Fedi goes fully open source under the AGPL licence, embedded in the Bitcoin blockchain on the anniversary of the Genesis Block. Over 100 hyperbitcoinised communities registered. 50+ Mini Apps available.
