ChapSmart: Send Bitcoin and Receive Tanzanian Shillings over M-Pesa with This New Fedi Mini App

How ChapSmart Works

Using ChapSmart on Fedi is easy. Here’s how it works:

Step 1: Open the ChapSmart Mini App inside Fedi and click on “Get Started” at the top.

Step 2: Click on “Login with Nostr” to create an account.

Accounts use 16-digit anonymous numbers which you must keep safe. Those 16 digits will enable you to log into your ChapSmart account.

Step 3: Enter the recipient's M-Pesa number and the amount in Tanzanian shillings. ChapSmart shows you the exact amount in satoshis and the fee upfront.

Step 4: Pay the Lightning invoice, which ChapSmart generates automatically, from your Fedi wallet. The recipient receives Tanzanian shillings on M-Pesa.
