There are no hard-coded limits to the size of a Federation, however, high-trust communities are generally not huge communities, so as Federations grow larger, we recommend putting less money in them. As a general rule, larger Federations should have more guardians, and users should put fewer critical resources in them.

We envision every user being a part of multiple Federations. So if you're not satisfied with the size or management of one, you can easily move your resources. Diversification and liquidity are sources of strength and resilience, just as in legacy economic institutions.
